Good Morning from Stage 2 of the UAE Tour

The AD Ports Group Stage is a 17.3km team time trial around Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi.

Khalifa Port (Abu Dhabi), 21 February 2023 – Good morning from Stage 2 of the 2023 UAE Tour, organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council and taking place from 20-26 February – the one and only UCI WorldTour race in the Middle East. The second stage features a 17.3km team time trial where all the riders in each team work together to cross the line in the fastest-possible time. The team that achieves that feat will be awarded the stage win.

The first team to start will be UAE Team Emirates at 13:35, and the last team to start will be Soudal Quick-Step at 15:10. Download the start order HERE.

THE ROUTE
Stage 2: Khalifa Port – Khalifa Port (17.3 KM)

The AD Ports Group Stage is a team time trial that takes place entirely inside Khalifa Port. The route is very fast and is characterised only by a few right-angled bends, and two U-turns. The road is perfectly flat, wide and has wide-ranging turns which will allow riders to hold very high speeds (wind permitting).

General Classification: worn daily, starting from Stage 2, by the leader of the General Classification by time.
